The Little Catcher of Stars by Cathy Delanssay |
she brings them home.
she runs through the dark woods.
woods aren't scary, do you know?
"the woods are lovely, dark and deep" says Robert Frost.
the windows shine with a soft yellow light.
opens the door and craaack, it says.
the star catcher gets a small wooden chair and stands over it so she can reach the table.
then she pours the stars from a little bag on her waist to a transparent glass.
the stars are floating in the water.
the star catcher shakes the glass a little bit and the stars shake.
then they fall overlap onto the bottom.
for someone who loves stars
